Biolizard89 GCARS-CS Recorder v0.3
Anyone remember my GCARS-CS Recorder? Well, it's back. Version 0.2 is now compiled to native code rather than VB P-Code. This fixes the frequent freezes that occurred when dealing with large recordings or large update frequencies. Version 0.3 released. This release adds a "packets sent" counter when playing a recording.

Whoa, this is a recorder as in recording the game? As in recording SSBM (and other) games?

Whoa, this is a recorder as in recording the game? As in recording SSBM (and other) games? Yeah, it can record gameplay from any game supported by GCARS-CS. At the moment, it only supports a single player, since that's what GCARS-CS supports. If you don't like that limitation, bug Fuzziqer about adding multiple local players.

could you make a guide for this? I dont really understand how to use it x_x I really don't have time to make a full-fledged guide, but here's the basics: First, go to the Options screen to tell it your Cube's IP, the current Game ID (it's on the disc), and any other options that are there (I can't remember what's there). Then, in GCARS-CS, set up everything like normal, and set whatever player you want the Recorder to be to your PC's LAN IP. Go to the Waiting For Players screen. Then, in the Recorder, click Start Game. This will send GCARS-CS a command to start the game (like, duh!). Then, simply use the Record and Play buttons like a VCR. Depending on how complete your scripts are, you'll probably have to manually go to the same place in the game you were in when you started recording before you start playing. The numbers that appear in the text box are mainly for debug purposes. Each line consists of the delay (in milliseconds), a comma, a space, and the received packet (in hex). You can also use Start Game and Record and Start Game and Play to record or play a whole session, instead of just part of it. Hope this helps.
