Coordinate Plane Generator
Way back in Fall 2004, when I was in Trigonometry (as a high school Freshman!), I got sick and tired of drawing a coordinate plane every time I wanted to graph something for class. So, being the l33t programmer that I am, I decided to write a program to do it for me. The end result was Biolizard89 Coordinate Plane Generator, and is available at http://www.asofok.org/jeremy/. The coordinate plane generator itself was finished fairly quickly, and in Spring 2005 I added cartesian, parametric, and polar function graphing to it. As soon as I finished the coordinate plane generator (without function graphing), I uploaded it and released it on the Warp Pipe forums. Unfortunately, it was so popular that it used up all my bandwidth for the month in less than 24 hours. This led to my web host shutting me down, which royally pissed me off, and killed Biolizard89's Random Musings, my blog. No one other than my math teacher ever saw it with the function graphing. I've now reuploaded it to a better server with loads more bandwidth. I then started adding 3D support to it, and quickly got fed up with it, and lost interest. I started working on it again over Thankgiving Break, and got 3D working (somewhat). It's not releaseable yet, but once it is, I will be sure to post it. It's written in PHP and SVG 1.1, which means you'll need a browser that supports SVG for it to work. Note that Firefox's SVG support isn't perfect right now, so you may need to install the plugin that I link to for it to look as intended. Anyway, have fun with Coordinate Plane Generator, and please post comments. However, know that many of the bugs present in it are already fixed in my development version with the 3D support.
