In the memory card manager, your card will be corrupted if (a) you send an invalid file to it, or (b) you try to load an entire card image (not just one file).
In a ControlSim game, you *usually* do have to worry about your memory cards. Some games will say "no memory card inserted", in which case it doesn't matter. It's safer to pull your cards out right after the game starts anyway.
For uploading DOLs, you can use Levine. Once you get Levine set up, just type in the command "load <filename>", and it will load up the DOL file immediately. You don't have to do anything on the GC except start Levine.

You can't actually upload GCARS itself using Levine; you'd have to use a different method to do that. But once GCARS is running, you can use Levine to upload any other DOL file (and GCARS will run it).

Yeah, of course you can.

No, you do need something running on the GameCube to receive and launch the DOL file.

So far, I have had no luck with uploading dol files, does anyone use s9xinject for SNES ROMs? Could the trouble be with those particular dol files? But uploading single files to the memory card does work?

A Mario Kart script would be great.
Fuzziqer, I recall that you started on a Starfox Assault script, but didn't finish it. Could you post what you have so that people can try to improve it without duplicating your work?

Yeah, I'll post it this afternoon. SFA is difficult because it keeps multiple copies of data (unfortunately the "live" ones are on pointers), and it also keeps large arrays that can't be efficiently synchronized.
