Fuzziqer, that n00b friendly tutorial was MINE. PROOF!!
I'm very interested in this GCars thing. In fact, I've written my own tutorial on it on how to set up an online SSBM match. The tutorial in your sticky is giving credit to the wrong person. I'm the one who made the original tutorial. The only proof of this is that the post of the tutorial I made pre-dates the tutorial you found that bootleofwater posted on www.smashboards.com. Here is the ORIGINAL N00b's Guide tutorial: http://boards.ign.com/super_smash_bros_/b5213/105988131/p1/?0 HERE is the idiot(bootleofwater) that copied my original tutorial, and changed a few words, and gave me no credit: http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=63956 I'm extremely pissed off about this, and I would like you to change in your sticky that it was my tutorial. Thanks. Also, I made this tutorial accessable on a ebpage I also created with some webspace and updated the info: http://www.geocities.com/the_psychotic_worm/ssbmonlinetutorial.htm I realize there is no stoping random jack***es from taking credit for my tutorial, but please, if oyu can, just change that in the sticky. psychoticworm(me) is the original creator of it. Also, I would love to contribute in making gcars better. I'm mostly interested in fine tuning/perfecting the SSBM player scripts, But I would like to know what programs you use to even be able to create the scripts. I downloaded GCNrd and GCNrdGUI, and it seems like a cool program. I still have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, But I am a fast learner, and I would be thrilled to help in making the SSBM scripts even better. Is there any tutorials on how to use GCNrd to be able to add to the scripts? Me and _glook have been playing SSBM online for some time now, and we have been pondering on ways to help with certain aspects of the gameplay. I've got some ideas of codes that might help with ruberbanding better. Please give any info you can to me, I am a fast learner, and I hope its not too late to 'begin' making SSBM better online playable. I do have 2 cubes, a router, and all I would need extra is another copy of SSBM v1.0.

I am really sorry about this. It's pretty much all my fault. I'm the one who posted the n00b-friendly guide here; it's not Fuzziqer's. I used a significant portion of BootleOfWater's guide in it, not noticing that he had copied it verbatim from yours. But when I noticed on SmashBoards (yes, I do read the SmashBoards discussions about GCARS-CS) that you accused BootleOfWater of stealing your guide, my initial inclination was just to keep out of it, and see if BootleOfWater admitted to stealing your guide. This was mainly because there was little or no proof (at the time), as you admit, that he had stolen it from you. When the "cardit" typo was exposed, my opinion changed to that he had almost certainly stolen it from you. However, I didn't have time to go edit the post here or even reply on SmashBoards about it, because I was very busy with school (I had finals plus an AP -*test*-('") coming up). After that, I pretty much just forgot about it. That's entirely my fault, and I'm very sorry. I will change the n00b guide to give you credit; that's only fair. I should also probably apologize on behalf of the forum staff here for this thread being locked. Most people here probably aren't familiar with this issue from SmashBoards, and so the moderator (don't know who it was) who locked the thread was probably just trying to avoid a flamewar. On the subject of GCNrd, there are no tutorials that I know of that use GCNrd, but there is a very nice document called The Hacking Text. I can't find a download link right now, but I have it saved on my hard drive, so I'll see if I can upload it. Most of The Hacking Text is directly applicable to GCNrd, with a few minor exceptions. It's where I learned to hack (although I generally suck at hacking anyway). With any luck I can upload it soon.

Okay, The Hacking Text is uploaded at http://staff.littlemoonproductions.com/biolizard89/gcars-cs/The%20Hacking%20Text.htm Hack away!

Yeah, I stole it and denied it. I already apologized about it...it was stupid.
