Need a mod for about a week
I'm leaving for Mexico on Monday morning, to return on Saturday. All I'm asking is for someone to moderate my forums while I'm gone. Any takers? (If not, I'll just close the forums until then.)

I can do it. (I've been moderater of several forums before, and admin of my own so I know how it works.)

Yeah, that's what I was thinking; the only thing is that it seems weird to have a bunch of mods for a forum with just a few members. I suppose it's logical, though. Side note: on phpBB, can mods ban people, or do admins have to do that? If mods can't ban people, I might have to make a temp admin or two as well.

No, they can't unless you set it yourself. (just checked) In the admin panel, at the bottom choose Permissions and bring up the user's account. At the top, if you change "User" to administrator they'll be able to ban. But if you only want them to be plain ol' moderators just set "Not moderator" to "Is moderator" (If they're not set to administrator, they can't even get to the admin panel in the first place, lol.)

Yeah, I thought so.... oh well. I don't really expect any problems, but I'll probably make someone a temp admin before I go anyway.
