Fuzziqer, 'someone's' access key and serial number are in the license.ind included with 1.8. o_O You sure you should leave it there?

well i have one tiny question is there a way to change the port tht the psoserver exe uses for the web port because it interferes with my web setup or is there just a -H command to disable the http server or somthing simmilar?

fuzziqersoftware- 04-24-2006

No, there's no command to disable it or anything - I suppose I should have added one. I'll do that today. Don't worry about the license info in licenses.ind - it's my license info (BB too) but it expired on Sega months ago.

I just deleted the supplied license.lnd... The proxy server seems to still be buggy... with Plus at least. I tried going to Sega (USA) with my Plus copy and instead of getting sent to sega I got disconnected with error 100. Still though... VERY nice new version Fuzzy. I'm especially thankful for the information documents containing the arguments each command will take. That'll really help my administrating of the server.

fuzziqersoftware- 04-24-2006

The proxy server will probably be buggy for a long time - it's badly written, but seems to work okay for most people. That's why I reccommend Change Server instead, so you spend as little time as possible on the Proxy Server. Of course, Plus is screwy about being reconnected, too.

The $hpp and $tpp commands now work perfectly, and it looks cool when you use it too... pretty awesome.. the only thing I find wrong now is I cant delete quests with the addquest.exe... I can add them just fine, but when I run addquest.exe -d -fquestname or -n"questname" it still won't delete..

I can add them just fine, but when I run addquest.exe -d -fquestname or -n"questname" it still won't delete.. Just remove the quest from the folder, then run addquest, it'll see the bad quest entry and delete it.

Hey you guys do know that hack got seat working as a download quest for gc, He said when using claras prs tool it had trouble compressing the larger files and thats was hanging seat at 98% download, he evntually got it working, but his server uses .qst format (the bin and dat combined) anyway he attempted to compress the seat files the way he got his format working and he said if that doesn't work then it may be a bug with the way fuzzi's server handles download quests, If anyone wants a look at the files hack compressed for me just ask and i'll forward them to you.

Syphos- 04-25-2006

Let me take a look at them.

fuzziqersoftware- 04-25-2006

My compressor fails on some files, and I honestly don't know why. It doesn't compress things quite as small as Sega's, but that's because I couldn't find the compression routines to reverse them; I had to write my own. I'll take a look at the code in both my compressor and download quest creator; there's likely an error somewhere.

Can you turn of one or more of the servers started by PSO Server program? That HTTP server kills my "real" webserver..

PC Support
I recall Fuzzqier mentioning that PC support would be buggy but enabled in 1.8. Is it? I see no mention of it in the update log.

fuzziqersoftware- 04-26-2006

Yes, PC support is enabled in v1.8.

Totakeke- 05-08-2006

Is PC quest support being worked on?

fuzziqersoftware- 05-09-2006

No; I'm focusing on Ep3 at the moment. I'd work on PC quests, but the fact remains that I don't have any. I'd have to write a .qst file parser, but I'm lazy.
