You told me one of em could crash the server if the person it was used on DCed before the thrower cancled the command.

fuzziqersoftware- 06-18-2006

Oh...... I haven't thought about that since I told you. Yeah, that will still happen. Using $throw is perfectly safe, but using $lthrow and $ulthrow can crash your thread. It'll be a pain in the ass to fix.

*bump* v2.1 :P

Totakeke- 07-02-2006

Awesome. Was the Change Server/Change Ship bug fixed? (just wondering if I should re-enable it on my server)

Smurph- 07-02-2006

ZOMG, I'm in the readme! That wasn't necessary fuzziqer (Beta -*test*-('")ers are supposed to be unsung = P), but I thank you! = D

fuzziqersoftware- 07-02-2006

I forget which proxy server bug you're referring to..... but I fixed one or two. Try it out, I guess. Smurph, I disagree - beta -*test*-('")ers deserve plenty of credit. Without beta -*test*-('")ers, that bug would remain in the server software, and it was a relatively nasty bug as well.

Congrats on the readme smurph :)

This version still doesn't appear to work with PSO+. I have all the ports forwarded to my host machine, but trying to connect to its LAN IP on PSO+ results in the usual 101 error. The WAN IP just doesn't work altogether, but the LAN IP gets to the DNS server, but 101s from there.

fuzziqersoftware- 07-03-2006

:( I'll have to work on this more, I guess. Is your DNS server in retrieval mode?

Smurph- 07-03-2006

I get the same thing, and I'm nearly positive it's in retrieval mode. However, my router hates LAN IP > WAN IP connections. I'm gonna have to re-flash the firmware with something else.

pink- 07-04-2006

The only way I could possibly connect to mine is with connecting to the LAN IP... my router doesn't let the LAN's accessing my connection through WAN either. :P Yes I'm 100% sure it's in retrieval mode, I made sure that was set before experimenting.

fuzziqersoftware- 07-04-2006

Then you need two network cards in our computer - if you can't connect through your external IP, the DNS server is set up to use the other network card, making PSO think it's connecting to an external IP, when in fact, it's actually just a stub network. You'll have to set PSO's default gateway to your PC's address (on the same network), though.

Two network cards is not an option for me. It's as simple as that. The only other thing I could ever ask for from this server would be the ability to connect to my LAN IP successfully without using the DNS Tool that was made that uses Anti-Hack. I just want to be able to have multiple versions of PSO connected to my server with one PC, and one network card.

BackStabber- 07-04-2006

sweet.. you can toggle between normal DNS mode and retrival mode by pressing shift + space..

Some info.
Well, I changed the addr+ and inet to my PCs IP (the pc running the server). I then added addr- and made that an IP that kept coming up on the server log. It was a local address in the LAN, I assume one of the GCN. I can log onto the server with PSOGCN with these settingswhile in retreival mode. I assume it won't run over the WAN like this, though. I don't own Plus, though, so I can't -*test*-('") it with these settings. The problem is I keep getting these exceptions in the program. When that happens people on the server can seemingly play fine, but anyone trying to log on from that point just gets a frozen lobby shot. Right before it gives you the info on the server you are connecting to. It happened with version 2.0 as well. It seems to only happen when people log on and off the server quickly. I don't get it. Get back to me if possible.
