Well, retrieval mode screws up with some routers anyway, so I decided to make it switchable...... but I really should change the keycombo. SHIFT+SHIFT (both keys) sounds good.

BackStabber- 07-23-2006

mmm... i can connect with pso 1.1 with retrival mode and normal mode, plus users still cant connect, even from a wan connection...

pink- 07-23-2006

Yes, plus players still can't connect properly... I'm sure it'll be fixed... eventually... but for now, plus has to miss out on new things again.

Gcentrex- 07-23-2006

It will take ages for Fuzz to fix it unless someone sends him a PSO Plus disk I sent him a log of me connecting with PSO Plus but it looks like it didnt help much by the sound of things :(

fuzziqersoftware- 07-23-2006

If it's an IP problem, I don't know if there's anything else I can do, besides fix a few bugs in Retrieval Mode. If it's a server bug (i.e. it stays conencted but the server hangs or something), then there's plenty I can do.

Gcentrex- 07-23-2006

I hope its something you can fix or maby you can ask Schthack how his Anti-hack alows PSO Plus to connect correctly?

andoba- 07-26-2006

if kohle has a mod-chip, some US peep send him a PSOPLUS copy

Gcentrex- 07-26-2006

if kohle has a mod-chip, some US peep send him a PSOPLUS copy PSO Plus cant be booted from backup infact you cant even boot PSO Plus on a modded Gamecube unless you use the (m) code the same with PSO EP3, yes I do know this as I chipped my own gamecube. He could maby edit the boot loader to alow it to boot but who knows only Fuzz would have a clue if that will have the game still working or not.

whats the excat problem with PSO+ ? does it have something to do with DNS?

Gcentrex- 07-26-2006

whats the excat problem with PSO+ ? does it have something to do with DNS? Yeah its something to do with it not too sure what thought because when I written my local IP in memory like I do with connection codes it would work just fine, it just does not want to connect to a local DNS server on the same network. Im gonna do some -*test*-('")ing with it anyway

You can always use a loader to load the PSO Plus .gcm (good luck downloading a 1.2 GB file on dialup :|) through psoload and your favorite loader (search for one, there's many).

Nope wont work have a look at their compatiability lists PSO Plus and EP3 are listed as not working and they dont know why :P Who said about downloaing it I would be willing to send him copys

I'm not talking about a mod chip loader. I mean a .gcm loader (like Phoenix, AC Loader, etc). There's over 6 loaders that I know of, and you're saying not a single one works with Plus?

I know what you ment thats what I was saying about (use to use Phoenix sometimes still do the current one) and yes every single one I tryed would not boot up PSO Plus or EP3 and the info I got about the others also said they cant load it. GCARS-CS is using an old drive code so it has no chance for booting that as a backup, Fuzz you should use the one SoftDev uses his drive code it brilliant it booted some rahter bad burn and had and also booted cheaper media, booted my good ones perfectly and has good error tollerence :)

Some loaders won't work with those PSO versions because they use low memory. Loaders that use high memory (GCARS, GCNrd) and loaders that use the disc drive memory (Anaconda, Viper, etc.) will work with PSO Plus.
