i doubt hes going to include it maybe it should be private probably a good idea as well or maybe he couldw make it get quests of someone with download quests

all this talk about private and public, paranoia over whos going to steal what... maybe a suggestion, separate the forum into two areas. -one for users, suggestions/trouble shooting the like -one for private dev-related posts i'd like to ask to be apart of the latter

WarSong - yeah, that sounds like a good idea, but there really isn't a dev team; I'm the only developer. I talk to Soulja and Gcentrex (the main server users/quest h4x0rs) on MSN. I'll make a poll to decide the download quest issue.

But what would people contribute? My sources and libraries are kind of difficult to use, so I don't think anyone could write code for the project.....

contribute? ... *note to myself: learn more english* However I could make my quests only for this server, if schthack refuses to host them. (He didn't replied yet) Some of them are already made, others are still in my head. 2 of them are already up on Gcentrex' server. You might know me from schthack forum..

quests is a great way to help if anyone wants i can write a gui for some of the stuff etc ill do it once i get vs.net again i cant stand normal vs anymore

well, i can give old quests a complete new face, but not inside the script. And some quests not fit to that I wanted to make. I am a rookie compared to Soulja, just to mention.

But why the Poll you already know that 90% of them will say yes is this to have the download option enabled or for you to release everything (the dlq creator for ep1&2) ,I hope not but if you do then I hope you use a encription of the programs not a public one that can easly be cracked :wink: . Some Bugs > Oh and I now know why my PC seems to turn its self off for no reason the server still seems to eat alot of my CPU it seems after using the proxy option, it bring it constantly from 16% upto 90+% for both prossessor If I turn off Licence Verification then an unregistored user connect it will stop them from connecting as it should but then it crashes. The information section seems to only read a small amont of text from the files could you possiably increase this to alot more as I was writing a command list, like you had in 1.2 - 1.4 (basicly copying it :D ) were it seemed to work correctly as it would show all the -*test*-('") but from 1.5 - 1.6 it does not show alot of text :(. I noticed that people who had downloaded ep3 quests from you and soulja have said they dont show up offline, I recomend changing the file names I have had changed them straigh away when I got 1.6 to the way I had them in 1.5 and they work perfectly. Going from the information Section back to the server will most times crash the server entirly. When I connect I normaly have my arrow but sometimes I dont not realy a bug but oh well, if their a way to save the arrows normal uses pick so when they connect it shows it? And the part you proberly already know about the licence code is a little buggy and sometimes the ship will crash when it checks a licence.

i understand why download quests are so important, i guess i forgot since in version1 and version2 download quests wern't the problem they are on gc. kohle, i agree with hikaru and centrix.. you need to protect your code less someone trys taking credit that is rightfully your for getting the dlquests to work. but at the same time i think that anyone who can host a server, even over a lan, should have access to dlquests. for now perhaps a limited release is best.

I'll give you my dummy.gba as a subsitute for the missing GBA roms, because I don't know what happens, if someone chooses a non-existent game xD We don't want to get FSOD, do we?

well who can take credit if you think about it its just like obvious who made the server i mean anyone can lie but whos gunna believe them its like alot of things alot of people know the real creator and the people who were lied to find out who realy made it its really obvious aka the shadowyoda story a a great example stealing credit for practicly all the hacks i made then it became funny when he rewrote the patchs with the same program but if fuzz wants ill find him a good encrypter and it will be a very private one

DNS Server
Well I tryed to use your DNS server app instead of using anti hack to connect pso+ and id does not work :( if another version connects they are auto sent to schthacks server instead of to me I was hoping to have it running almost like Anti Hack were if the server is running they connect to it if its down (crashed) then they are sent their instead, but it does not work that way :( You see if the server crashes when im using anti hack they are sent to Sega instead but if its up they connect to me.

Ah..... yeah, my DNS server doesn't support live changing of addresses. Sorry about that.
