yes, it makes it so your GG version will go no higher than 714 with psobb at least

Does this allow you to play PSOBB free? Or just surpass the Game Gaurd? *On a side note, is it even possible for someone to ever host a private PSOBB server? I heard that there was one yet it wasn't public.

It's only a GameGuard authentication server. The private unreleased BB server is this same one (Fuzziqer's) BUT it's removed in the public downloadable version. Perhaps someday when PSO BB is 20+ years old we'll see it in the public version. :|

So how exactly do you set this up with the abyss web server? Im very new to all this and im curious if it would work for other MMO's that also use Game Guard.

Well, if I were Fuzziqer, I'd make sure the PSOBB server is legal (from what I've heard, it is), and then release it right away. Sega wouldn't win in court, and they're probably not stupid enough to try to sue, either. This is Sega, after all -- they never sued emulator authors, and they usually don't even mind ROM sites. But yeah, I'm not Fuzziqer, so my opinion doesn't matter here. :)

How many people even actually play in the private BB? well its kind of weird theres already a hacking community with about 4-7 people who have actually found things and know what they are doing and there are about 2-3 that are legit if u dont count npcs and then there are the 50 that the bejing admin let on that are now everywhere always begging for weapons

I hope that someone could help me out with ths dam thing. I been trying to do it for a few days and it is pissing me off. I have a wireless router and ever time I try to do the sever file it tells me part is 8000, I know for a fact that is the wrong part. I need to know how to forward it so I can use it. any help would be great. Please help me out. I been missing with this and I am at the point pissed off. I been trying everthing. What are the parts. please help me out. I was able to do this way before I got my Router. I formated and then added my router. Please help me out. Thank you!

Ah ya that'd be cool to see PSOBB go public in a few years. How many people even actually play in the private BB? I was playing BB on schthack's and it was bugged as hell. I had 4 different characters in 1 slot, rendering the total chars to 16 on all 4. One was a RAmarl with 0 MST, Lv7 One was a RAmarl with Level 0 One was a RAmarl with ghost levels (wtf), Lv7 And the RAmarl I was leveling lately, Lv 8 Ghost leveling: You level up w/o reaching the goal EXP to next level, and again, if you reach it. Mostly happens in 2 player games when the other player levels up! Wierd!
