yea you have to run ah and input your ip in the box then close it and reopen it some times
then run the server with the d-flag second

tota yea i shold have fixed it up earlier i was kinda tired when i typed half of it
and coom the patch is on the disc not on the system file
well i could connect to schthacks server on ep3, then i went to sega's server, then i couldn't, it was patched because I went to the sega's servers, that is how people can stream files to the gc. I was patched, then i deleted all my pso ep3 files on my mem card, i was going to remake my character anyway, then i could connect to Schthack's server again and still can.

Sega does not patch your system file or any other file so no dont update you FAQ saying this, Patches are only avaliable on pso pc, pso xbox and pso bb, all versions of pso gc can not be affected by any patches as all data.
The files that are written to are char data guild card data and network data, the system file and quest data are only written to one time only.
char data, network data, guild card data are written to when required.
Their is not enought space on memory cards to place any type of patch normal users only have a 59 block memory card, pso takes a large part of this and this is without any download quest data.

thanks for confirming this

thanks for confirming this
No Problem I know this too since I still use all my old data back from when I play on Sega Legit so I know they cant have done it XD
xPSx Hikaru- 04-12-2006
well it seemed odd sega making a gc patch but it would ahve been possible if there was a patch in the networksetting save
but sega would never write a patch like that just like xbox never wrote anypatchs when it had a hd
well besides the shop dupe patch and the gallons shop npc update
blueburst is the only pso that is updated alot well not enough
psoxbox should have een updated more hacking killed that game but it wasnt hacks like npc's that did it wich is what everyone complains about it was mainly 127% and the 99 stacking that killed it
it made playing way to easy to beat the game if i could write a patch for that game id make it be if > 100% then revert 2 -128% also 1308 mags where another problem
fsod killed gamecube extremly fast expecially after prime and bones got the codes and vega was crashed like a million times
dreamcast never died sega shut it down just to piss people off and iwsh they were jp
blueburst isnt dead yet as far as i know its supposably more populated then a few months back bb died around beta though
thing is will psu die from sega being lazy or will they get real gm's and a actual good set of updates

A list of what the event and color commands would be nice addition to this FAQ.

gcentrex had it work i think idk hed have to confirm it
Their is the large word "had" it working I know how to force it to work all the time without issues like I had before, but with using Anti-hack as the DNS I lose the ability to change ships it will disconnect you with an error 100 if you try to change ships, so im not going to run it that way I have another way to use it and not lose the change ship ability but I would rather not do it that way.
Also if people want to use use AR connection codes they dont need to ask you or anyone I else, I gave Toster Mage all the versions offsets to create an Action Replay Connection Code Generator http://toastermage.ath.cx/projects/connectioncode.php he now has an exe version too, if they dont know how to use GCNrcrypt their are plenty of guides and I can do another one again easly.
I had also written an EXE version... it's more dial-up friendly (73kB vs. 4.4mB), and is actually a native windows version. (Toasty's is a repackaged python version that includes python and wxPython)
Available here
Just kinda throwing that out there...

I cannot get Episode 3 to work. I've tried using the tool, but it just will not connect to my server. It always gets a 101 error. I'm just not sure what to do, I feel like I've tried everything.
I can connect just fine with PSO+ JP version without any special software. But my US E3 just will not connect. Any ideas?
Totakeke- 04-26-2006
Did you forward the port that Episode 3 uses?
Cranberry- 04-26-2006
9000 - 10000 are what I forwarded.

Are you connecting to your external IP?
Cranberry- 04-26-2006
I told it to connect to my internal IP. 101 error. When I told it to try the External IP, it just hung and had no message.

PSO+ and EP3 Won't connect to an internal IP. Make sure you've forwarded all the ports in the readme AND port 53 on both TCP and UDP.
