SSBM debug code and gcars error
Hey all long time gcars user and supporter(though I stoped playing with the gc for while untill very recently) . In any case I've just tried to use that ssbm debug code with gcars and I get an error. Has anyone gotten the code to work? I am using ver 1.2 and when i attempted to use the debug code I got an exception error message. Which said exception: DSI and it list a bunch of memory addresses and highlights one address, which is 817F8A0C 817F9124 00003032. In any case if the code does work on gcars what do I have to do to get it to work?

Let's see..... 817F9124 would be SRR0 (the address of the code that caused the problem). Since the address in SRR0 is inside the hook, either there's a mistake in my hook somewhere, or the code is invalid. Make sure you entered the code exactly as it was decrypted and without the verifier. If the code is correct, and it still happens, I'll have to look again at my hook code.

ahhh thats what I forgot! nvm it works lol . Oh and man is Levine usefull! :D gcars is great! edit: just when I thought everything would go well... it looks like levine doesn't like long code strings :/. Well if I past them into the command promp it'll overwrite the code strings after the first few lines. edit: edit: ahh ok I just noticed that everytime you use the code command it uploads the code from the first line thats why it kept getting overwritten. Damn command prompt (or is it levine?)won't let me paste more then 13 lines with the code command :/.

Yeah, I ran into that a while ago too. I think it's a problem with Windows consoles; they don't like large strings being entered. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about that......
