Super Monkey Ball 2 crashes with error message
On Tuesday, Kirby Is Cool and I -*test*-('")ed Super Monkey Ball 2. We got to the Sega screen, and at that point, I got a black screen with a message along the lines of "An error has occurred, press the Power button to turn off the Nintendo GameCube, refer to the manual for more instructions". Kirby Is Cool's GCN just froze at the Sega screen. I was P1, he was P2. Does anyone know what causes this type of error to show up? Thanks in advance.

That error usually means that an exception occurred...... but it's impossible to tell which one, really. As far as I know, there really isn't a way to find out what happened. Did you try it again? If the same thing happens more than once, try playing with the script and game settings a little.

Setting the update frequency below 2 might cause problems. I recommend 4 or 5 for most games. This might cause problems with the pad data, but try it just to see if it works. If it does, then I'll make you an ASM code to freeze the pad data. (edit) This post should be below yours; I dunno what happened lol

If the same thing happens more than once, try playing with the script and game settings a little. We were going to try again, but it was getting late, and my parents were telling me to get to bed. I'll try it again when I get a chance, but my free time is kind of limited (which is why it took me three days to even post the error). Do you know if having the update frequency set too often could cause the crash? I had it on 00000000, since I need the pad data to be updated every frame.
