Sorry to bothering you Totakeke but i cant get soulja224466's quest editor to work. When i try to open it by doublle clicking on it it says The application failed to initialize properly (0x0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application

Whenever I try to open up a quest it says An unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attemp to continue. If you click Quit, the application will be shut down immediately. Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow. Anyone know why it says this everytime? I can't open any quests that came with the server, or any quests I just ripped from the disk. Also, I compressed the quests I just ripped, and put them on my server as Down Load Quests. But when I try to play them on offline mode, the screen just stays black, but it still plays the noise when you start a quests...

You're probably trying to open the quests right from the quests folder (that comes with Fuzziqer's server). Those are compressed. Soulja's editor only opens uncompressed quest files.

Quests, what are shipped with the server: Compressed, need to be UNcompressed Quest from the PSO disc: Uncompressed. Fuzziqers PRSUTIL works like this: prsutil.exe <file.ext> = Uncompresses file.ext prsutil.exe *<file.ext> = Compresses file.ext (mind the star!) Quests need to be compressed before they can be used with the server.

hmmm yes anyone can follow the directions in the EXE, but it still hasnt worked for me... both the bin and dat need to be compressed? yea and I know the quests with the server are compressed, when I uncompressed them I opened them up in a hex editor and found all of the dialog. If you load the quests online all the doors disapear and theres no people, if I load it offline as a DLQ, then it's just a black screen..

Yes, both the dat and bin have to be compressed for the server to load them properly.

I installed the net framework 1.1 and i can open the quest editor now but wenerver i try to open a file or do anything i get the same problem as backstabber. on a side note was wondering if anyone knows if any of the quests on the server have rare enemies in them? I dont meen as in you mite find one i mean they are in the quest purposefully. That or if anyone knows if any rare weapons can be aquired from any of the quests with this server

just try runninhg prsutil with no * and you'll be fine. i can open them up no problem now, but still trying to figure out how the offline quests wont work as download quests after i compress both the bin and dat file and add them... when i load them online its just an empty p2 with no doors or npcs.. if you want all of the quests to download already uncompressed, http://homebasepso.ath.cx/quests/ i put them up here, you can browse through them and download which ones you want, and i also put them all in a rar file..
